What are Peak Days?
Peak Day tickets are designed to control visitor flow on predicted peak days of the Expo by designating dates, limiting volume and increasing prices.
Peak Days include Labor Day Holiday (May 1-3, 2010), National Day Holiday (Oct. 1-7, 2010), and the last week before the closing date of the World Expo (Oct. 25-31, 2010), with 17 days in total.

Standard Days are all days other than Peak Days.
What is Special Admission?
Certain groups of people are eligible for discounted Special Admission tickets. Those people are:

| The disabled | With valid certificates of disability issued by relevant institutions. |
| Senior citizens | Born on or before Dec. 31st, 1950 with valid IDs. |
| Students | Students with valid IDs. |
| Children | Children above 1.2m. |
| Chinese military personnel on active duty | With valid IDs issued by the army or armed police forces. |
